Oksana Zabuzhko called the law on quotas for Ukrainian language television small step in the struggle for national information space.
About it reports “24”.
“These laws add optimism. But this is only a small step in the right direction. War in the information space continues and will not end soon. And in General, to adopt the language of the quota after three years of war, is humiliating,” – said Oksana Zabuzhko.
“Our every move on meeting to the Ukrainian language, raises a wave of dust from the side of Russia. From it over and over again POPs up another Mary carpenter – “looking” from the FSB in the Ukrainian press. Russia continues to conduct aggressive propaganda in our information space. This happens regardless of the decrease or aggravation of hostilities in the Donbass”, – she added.
March 16, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law on quotas for Ukrainian language television. The document provides for a compulsory share of Ukrainian-language programs and movies on television in the amount of not less than 75%.
