Ukraine dropped to 29 steps in the world ranking


Ukraine has significantly worsened its position compared to year 2015

The Ukraine fell by 29 places in the ranking of the UN.

This is stated in the report of the Programme for the year 2016, reports UNN.

Ukraine and Armenia have divided the 84-th position in the ranking, being among the countries with a high level of human development.

Ahead of Ukraine Algeria, and 86 in place is Jordan.

The group included 54 countries. Ukraine has significantly worsened its position compared to year 2015. Then the country was in 55th place.

While Norway, Australia, Switzerland, Germany and Denmark are the top five States with very high levels of human development in the world. The U.S. is in tenth place, while Russia is 49th. in Total, this group of 51 countries.

The main factors which determined the ranking of countries: life expectancy, duration of training and the gross national income per capita.

The population in Ukraine as of 1 February amounted to 42,558 million. This information was published in the State statistics service.

Every 2 years since 1995, the population of our country decreases by about a million.
