Two veteran Andrey Ilchenko and Alexander Chamorrow talked about long after the war experience. They are the founders of the initiative “Time veteran”. The goal is to unite veterans.
The creators of the program believe the majority of former fighters have the same problem. Together they will be easier to solve them and return to normal life.
“Indeed, it was evident that I had changed, and not just from my point of view, but also from the point of view of society. I didn’t want to chat with my mom, sister and I didn’t want to go to them. It is not that they did not share my views. And that the man who comes back from the war, a period generally does not want to communicate with society. It is clear that the society in the role of mother is offended, ” says Chamorrow.
“Only in Kiev 14 thousand veterans. These are people who need support. Because veterans are those who have something to say and something to discuss. I three months after demobilization could not remove the form. I want to say to all veterans: “Guys, don’t be afraid to change, we have changed,” says Ilchenko.
