IMF proposes to increase the salaries of Ukrainians only in accordance with productivity growth. Otherwise, high growth payments will have a negative impact on the economy.

He noted that the authorities are obliged to monitor the increase in wages.
“Of course, you can very quickly increase wages, but this does not affect the growth of the economy”, – concluded the Jost Longman.
According to the law on the state budget for the year 2018, the Cabinet on the results of the first quarter of 2018, will consider the possibility of raising the minimum wage in the country up to 4200 UAH. From 1 January 2018, the minimum wage is UAH 3723. Previously it was RS 3200.
