Ukraine increased export of bumblebees

In January-September 2017 Ukraine increased the export of bumblebees to 48%, or 23.5 tons.

In monetary terms, the export for the period was increased to $307,3 million, reports “Biznestsentr”.

“The export of bumblebees in January-September 2017 amounted to 73 tonnes, or $307,3 thousand. In comparison with January-September 2016 exports increased by $107,5 thousand, or 23.5 tons. The average cost of 1 kg of bees is $4,2”, – said the expert agricultural markets of the Association “Ukrainian club of agrarian business” Daria Gritsenko.

At the same time, the import of bumblebees for the period decreased by 1% to $ 410,4 thousand

“75% of the supply of bees is in Europe, in particular Poland. 25% – on the CIS countries, including Russia,” – said Gritsenko.
