From the ship “Berg”, which started to sink off the coast of the occupied Crimea, during the 4th and 5th of February evacuated the fuel and engine oil.

It is noted that on 1 February, the ship “Berg” under the flag of Moldova, which the shipowner is a company from Turkey, followed by the port of Azov to the Turkish port of Bandirma. He got three holes in the hull, which began to leak.
“The ship “Berg” was run aground. In the tanks of the freighter was 47,7 tons of diesel fuel and motor oil. On the morning of 3 February from Novorossiysk to Feodosia out sea tug “Foam” with special equipment for pumping fuel and a group of divers. On the same day around the ship “Berg” was put up booms to prevent spreading the stain of oil in case fuel is spilled in the waters of the Bay of Feodosia,” – said in the message.
Now oil pollution of the sea water occurred.
The Moldovan cargo ship “Berg” received damage to the hull in the Black sea near the Crimea. In the emergency region reported that the ship followed under the Moldovan flag. The crew of 12 people consists of citizens of Ukraine and Azerbaijan. The vessel is owned by a Turkish shipping company. The cargo vessel is over 3,000 tons.
