After the lifting of the moratorium on land sales hectares for agricultural purposes will cost $2.5 thousand about 70 thousand UAH.
“In the case of the lifting of the moratorium to sell land shares are going about 10.4% of the owners. This means that the market supply of land in case of its introduction can be 1.5 to 2.8 million hectares of farmland,” said head of the Department of land relations and environmental management Institute of agricultural Economics Olga Hodakovskaya writes AgroPolit.
She stressed that a third of the land users can acquire land at a price not more than $500 – 13,5 thousand UAH per hectare.
“Even 22,2% can offer about $1000 per hectare. Obviously, the willingness of land users to the process of introducing market turnover was supplemented by concessional lending and installment plan,” Khodakovskaya said.
