Next week on the sidelines of the Munich international security conference will be a meeting of the “Normandy” Quartet.
This was announced by the President of the conference Wolfgang Ischinger, reports Reuters.
“Next week, Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France are preparing to meet in the framework of the Munich conference on security to discuss the conflict in Eastern Ukraine,” – said Ischinger.
According to him, officials of the four countries will take part in the negotiations. The meeting will be attended by the President Petro Poroshenko and the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov.
Recent negotiations in the Normandy format held on 10 December. They were at the level of advisers to the presidents of Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia in Minsk and lasted about four hours.
