Law enforcement officers found in the private sector of Odessa in the house where illegally held 14 people, which if forcibly treated for drug addiction and alcoholism.

“All the victims were forcibly detained in a private house, with rigid rules of discipline by violating the constitutional rights of man and citizen. Despite the fact that, according to Ukrainian legislation, the treatment of drug-dependent person is possible only with his consent or by court order, none of the residents of the house had a legal judgment. And treatment it could not be called”, – stated in the message.
All captive men with drug or alcohol addiction or previous convictions. These include both Odessans and residents of other regions of Ukraine.
“Men were kept in harsh conditions: to go beyond the territory of homeownership they could not, because the house has a security system and all Windows are fitted with grilles. They walked only indoors and only in a column and under the supervision of the administrator. When this dependency was forced to work, and at the slightest attempt of defiance, cruelly they were beaten and not fed,” said the police.
Law enforcement authorities established that the organizers of the rehabilitation centre are members of the same religious schools. All patients they impose their faith and forced to pray for their rules.

In one of the private houses in Kamyshlinsky the Kharkov region found 30 people who said they were forced to remain for treatment for drug addiction.
