The world’s richest people continue to lose billions

Second time in a week 500 of the richest people in the world in one day lost $93 billion.

According to the rating of billionaires Billionaires Index (BBI), 20 participants of the rating for the day lost at least $1 billion. it Happened due to the fall in U.S. stock indexes, the RBC-Ukraine.

The founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos lost $5.3 billion of assets. Its condition is estimated now in $of 113.2 billion.

Head of investment company Berkshire Hathaway Warren Buffett poorer for 3.5$billion. the Founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg – $3.4 billion for U.S. companies, SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk lost $1.1 billion.

Today the global stock market lost because of landslides over $5 trillion. The previous fall in the index occurred on Monday morning. Then the leading indicators of the stock market dipped to an average of 5%.

Losses in new York turned into further losses in Asian markets. On the morning of 6 February the Japanese Nikkei index lost 6.6% and the Chinese Hang Seng fell 5%, the stock index of the Shanghai stock exchange Shanghai Composite fell 2.2%.
