The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov will meet with the foreign Minister of the Netherlands. During a working meeting on February 14 to discuss plans to “return” to the occupied Crimea the collection of Scythian gold.
This was reported by Pro site “Crimea.inform.”
“Russian-Dutch relations are marred by unleashed in the Dutch media, an unprecedented anti-Russian campaign, unjust verdict of the Amsterdam court on the transfer of exhibits of the exhibition “Crimea – Golden island in the Black sea” Ukraine, not the Crimean museums,” – said the Russian Ministry.
Crimean museums 2111 provided exhibits for the exhibition in Amsterdam in early February 2014. Among the exhibits there is jewelry made of precious metals, weapons and household items. The exhibits had to return to the Peninsula until June 1, 2014. After the annexation of Crimea about their rights they said Ukraine.
The Russians are ready to break the “inter-Museum relations” with the Netherlands if the court of Amsterdam did not return a collection of Scythian gold to the occupied Crimea. This statement was made by Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky.
